The Suter
The Suter Art Gallery
A couple days ago my class went to the Suter art gallery, it was so fun. I got to see heaps of art. There was a human made out of art. It was creepy, I didn't really like it. But there was a rabbit and a bird picture, it was so cool I loved it so much and I loved the Suter. It was like so cool because we got to do some activities and hear the story about Andrew and he worked in the town of Church and Andrew, in his spare time would get his friends and plan art. But one day Andrew died and Andrews wife got his money and she decided to create a Suter art gallery but Andrews wife died. Well the Suter didn't cost any money which was because it was for a gift for nelson which was very nice and there was some old stuff and some new stuff and it was cool as, like a wall lollies

IMAGINE THIS!
I woke up and decided to go to school differently. I climbed very wild long ladders up a cliff. It was awesome! I smelt a long journey ahead. (5 hours later) I did wonder when my journey would end. My back was very sore from carrying my bag. I heard birds chirping beautifully. AT LAST! I was there. I saw all the people playing happily so I quickly popped my bag on my hook and went out to play. After a minute of play the bell went so I ran to class. (6 Hours later) School is over time to go home. I feel like the happiest kid ever! By Thea-Jane
The old fun, dangerous way to school
On my way to school I have to climb a vey fighting dangerous ladder to the top of a rugged hill. Every day I see a family of plump yellow and green pigeons. I bring them left over bread and fruit from yesterday’s lunch. I go through the spiky , damp and smelly caves to get to the flying fox. I zip-line down shouting “wheeeeee” all the way to the old rickety swing bridge where the eels like to hang out.

Broadgreen Kapahaka
Today we have had Broadgreen come and perform at kapahaka. The girl with the feathers was so cool and it was so amazing and beautiful. It was so cool because they did maori songs it was so magnificent and it was the coolest songs. The first one was the coolest. The girl was so cool because she had feathers and stuff. It was pretty cool and I really wanted to be her because she's pretty.

Ecosystems

This week in assembly Cooper is getting the award and Edward is doing writers spot and we are walking to Monaco for lunch. We have bene doing research about water and geysers. wig wedensday
On Wednesday we were supossed to wear wigs and I had a pink wig and my friend Isabelle had a shiny blue wig. My other friend Isla had a clown wig on. It was really fun wearing wigs at Birchwood School. We could take them off. We also had a concert going on in the hall and there were two girls who are sisters and their names were Zaria and Shyla and they taught us a dance. It was a hip-hop dance that they did. It was sorry, whip\whip nah\nae and I forgot what the other names of the songs. Then we went back to the classroom, got our bags and went home. By Sophie O and Isabelle. THE END.
The amazing hip hop show...
Yesterday we had Shyla and Zaria perform in the hall at Birchwood School. It was amazing! It was hip-hop dancers. They were the best dancers I have ever seen. The girls showed the school a dance: it was very nice. They are twins. After the show the home bell rang. On Wednesday it was wig day and my wig was a clown wig and it was rainbow. My friend Thea- Jane, Isabelle and Sophie had a pink short wig. The end.

This week in Room Six
We learnt new mathematics games and loved them. We had Mr Stocker and learnt our two times tables and he pulled out dinosaur tickets and Keana, Edward and Lydia all won a prize from Mr Stocker. We also had a new teacher called Mrs Bafico.

Thunder!
At school there was thunder and I cried. The next day there was thunder and I wasn't scared because Miss Prokop told me thunder can't get you and you can go OUT SIDE! I WAS SO HAPPY! Now I love it.

Cross Country

Week 2 Term 2
We had a magician visit to show us some tricks for healthy eating.
Most of our favourite parts included animals. There was a dove and a rabbit, true magician style.
This week we has hockey training (mostly in the rain).
Practising defence stances.
It was heaps of fun and we all gave it out best shot. Ka pai kowhai!
