Bring On Week 1!

Let me begin with a big tēnā koutou to the Birchwood School community!

Students and whānau, Room 6 is ready and waiting for all of your smiling faces to arrive on Tuesday. It has freshly washed curtains, new furniture and a brand new teacher- me, Miss Prokop. 

Because it will only be a short one, Week 1 will be all about getting to know each other and looking ahead to the events of 2015! 

Parents you are most welcome to join us for afternoon sessions, and our school-wide assembly at 10:30am on Tuesday.

Homework Week 2

We will have a discussion about Homework on the meet the teacher evening on Tuesday 10th Feb. Your first homework sheet will be glued into homework books on Tuesday 3rd Feb but won't be due until Friday 13th- oooooh!

For now, you will have spelling words to take home and test yourself on, and you will books to take home and read.

Don't forget to bring back your forms for the Cricket World Cup as soon as possible if you are interested as it is first come, first serve for the limited places!!!
