Flick it On Film
We have finished filming our silent 2 minute movie for Flick it On. Thank you to Sophie (director) and Dilynn (camera girl) and Kacee (our main actor) and all of our extras. The children did all of this work by themselves (no teacher input!). Room 6 can explain the idea of our story to you. You can watch it if you click on this link . . .

Comic Life Posters
Room 6 have been clever and made Comic Life posters for our Flick it On film. It has helped us to think about camera angles and showing strong emotions and body language. Come and see them on display in our room.
Sign Language
We had sign language on Monday. We did sign language with a girl named Cathy. We know how to do the sign for cat. We got a sheet with the alphabet on it and most of us can spell our names. Cathy did not say a word when we were doing sign language. It was awesome! By Sophie

Making our Flick-it-on Movie
Lately the class has been making a movie for the film festival. We did story boarding to draw our ideas for the movie. Most of the children have chosen a boy for their character only some people have chosen a girl. We have taken some photos inside and outside our classroom to show each frame of the movie. We will use these next week to make a comic life poster.
